Roger Dubuis Knights under Murano Glass

Through the usage of modern craftsmanship, the 12 handmade knights around the dial are unique in their posture, armoury, weapons and shield. It took one and a half year to master. Positioned around a puzzle of glass pieces, the knights are ready to fight whatever challenges them.

In this imagined scene, the knights are preparing to defend themselves against the upcoming danger. Roger Dubuis settled the knights against a transparent blood red flange made from precious Murano glass. The brand used the same material to create the shiny black texture of the dial. Furthermore, the chosen colours of the Murano glass contrast beautifully against the 45mm 18k pink gold case.

From the broken up center of the dial of the Roger Dubuis Knights of the Round Table, the hands emerge to tell the time. The hands are definitely not the first thing you look at when you see this piece. The displayed scene is what grabs the observer’s attention first. To further enhance the view on it, Roger Dubuis has lifted the 18k pink gold bezel from the monobloc case of the same material with a sapphire ring.

Stunning visual experience

The crown of the watch features a stunning visual experience, resembling the guard of a sword making it look as if it is stuck inside the watch. Just like the Excalibur sword was stuck in a stone before being pulled out by Arthur.
