TAG Heuer 2023 Novelties at LVMH Watch Week

This week in Singapore, TAG Heuer launches several new products in both the iconic Monza and Carrera lines and the innovative and contemporary Connected watches and Aquaracer. An overview of their novelties.

The 2023 line-up of TAG Heuer shows a good variety of novelties, serving both the hard-core fan of the brand and the large audience that might be tempted by innovation and connectivity. On both levels choice of materials and technology feels like a natural evolution. Let’s start with themes on the iconic past of the brand.

1) Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary edition

Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Carrera, TAG Heuer reinterprets the ultra-collectable late 60’s Carrera 2447 SN, a Panda-version with silver sunray-brushed dial and black indexes. The watch needs not much introduction as the classic, elegants looks are easily recognizable even by more casual watch fans. Inside the 39mm case houses the Heuer 02 automatic movement, good for an 80-hour power reserve. In line with the 60th anniversary of the Carrera 600 pieces will be made, all individually numbered on the caseback.

2) Monza Flyback Chronometer

Another iconic watch that is easily recognizable and much adored is the Monza. In Singapore TAG Heuer presents a contemporary looking iteration that pays tribute to the indelible link the watch (and the brand) has with motorsports. The 42mm case is made of ultra-lightweight and resistant carbon, and the looks are amazing, especially with the blue and red accents on the skeletonized dial. Three essential functions for racing drivers are offered: a chronograph, a tachymetere scale and a pulsometer. The in-house Heuer 02 Flyback is COSC certified.

3) Aquaracer Professional Solargraph

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph

The Aquaracer Solargraph, with its innovative TH50-00 solar movement was introduced last year during Watches & Wonders. The movement is powered, through the dial, by solar or artificial light and a two-minute exposure already charges the watch for a full day. What is new this week is the addition of a titanium version, making the watch even bolder and improves the quality and durability even further. A perfect and very innovative daily watch…

4) Connected Caliber E4

TAG Heuer Connected E4 42mm Golf edition

TAG Heuer has been a pioneer in luxury connected watches since 2015, and the brand has become a key player in this segment, that bridges luxury and utility. Although connected watches might be a different league and not fully appreciated by the luxury connaisseurs, the potential is beyond question and the utility fits perfectly well with the sports-driven focus of TAG Heuer. Over the past years several iterations in the Connected family were launched, and this week three new members become available. The 42mm Golf Edition is the lightest Connected made to date, and optimized for golfers. The Black titanium 42mm is more generic, and will appeal to the style-driven collector who wants a smart watch that reminds him of his chronograph. Lastly, the Sports Edition is more for the sports-driven wearer as it is optimized to fit perfectly to the users body while moving. It comes with a new strap with different color options.

TAG Heuer does not disappoint this week with their great variety of novelties. An honouring of their glorious past, next moves in combining new technologies and materials in existing models and a new generation of Connected watches show the strength of this omni-present brand.
