A divers legend reborn

Within TAG Heuer’s positioning motorsports has always been key, with icons such as the Carrera and Monaco leading the way. TAG Heuer strongly represents water sports and diving affiliation is for already more than 40 years. In 1978 the Heuer reference 844 started the legacy, followed by the Heuer 2000 in 1982, the last model line presented under the helm of Jack Heuer. In 2004 TAG Heuer unveiled the TAG Heuer Aquaracer, representing from that moment on the divers watch line up of the brand.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer in seven references

Today, TAG Heuer announces a new era for the model with the Aquaracer Professional 300. The new generation is fresh and contemporary but immediately recognizable by its signature 12 faceted bezel, this time with a ceramic insert and an engraved minutes scale. TAG Heuer launches no less than seven new references, four in 43 mm case diameter, and three in 36 mm. All watches are stainless steel except one 43 mm variation, which comes in high-tech matte Grade 2 titanium and green sunray-brushed dial.

All versions are sophisticated, highly functional, ergonomic and versatile, key qualities we know from the Aquaracer line. The seven references all carry the Caliber 5 automatic movement, adding much reliability to the total package.

Collectable Limited Edition

The reborn Aquaracer Professional 300 is not only a fresh new continuation of the Aquaracer line. An additional limited edition version honours the watch that started it all in 1978. The Aquaracer Professional 300 Tribute to Ref. 844 is a collectable limited edition of (you guessed it..) 844 watches.

It combines various visual elements of the original piece and is housed in a 43mm Grade 5 titanium case. The flat-back dial showcases a red 24-hour scale in the inner ring, originally meant as a quick conversion chart for divers. It comes on a black rubber perforated strap. A very cool collectors’ piece!

The story starts here

TAG Heuer indicates that the launching collection of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 is just a beginning. The story starts here, and the seven references provide a very good fundament to serve the diver fans and collectors in the years to come.
